What is an MSME?
|
|
MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise) has been defined as follows by the Government of India:
Manufacturing Sector

A micro enterprise is an enterprise where investment in plant and machinery does not exceed Rs. 25 lakh; |

A small enterprise is an enterprise where the investment in plant and machinery is more than Rs.25 lakh but does not exceed Rs.5 crore; and |

A medium enterprise is an enterprise where the investment in plant and machinery is more than Rs.5 crore but does not exceed Rs.10 crore. |

A micro enterprise is an enterprise where the investment in equipment does not exceed Rs.10 lakh; |

Should I enroll as a Professional or a Professional Firm?
|

If you are associated with or run a firm comprising many professionals and you want to enroll all or some of these professionals in one go itself or if you feel that you can best provide services to MSMEs as a group comprising multiple professionals, then you should enroll as a professional firm.

Complete the Enrolment Form, to choose your Username and Password |
| 3. |
Start building your profile by providing us details about your educational qualifications, work experience, industries of expertise and other relevant information. |

Click on the ‘Submit’ button on the last screen. |

Confirm your profile by clicking on a link sent to you for the same on your email address.

I am facing problems in finding the correct industry of my expertise. The list is very big. What do I do?

Our list of Industries has been made exhaustive keeping in mind the specific needs and requirements of the MSME sector. As an example, an MSME would be more interested in searching for a Professional who is specifically into ‘Manufacture of cordage or rope made of jute’ rather than just a Professional from the broad ‘Jute’ industry. We would thus urge you to spend some time and identify the specific industries of your expertise.

A Professional/ BDS (Business Development Services) Provider is an entity possessing competence in a particular activity or a function and provides this expertise at a fee to an enterprise which needs this expertise for restructuring/growth.
While many Professionals/ BDS providers specialize in certain areas, together as a sector, they offer advice and solutions across all of a business’ main functions: from inputs, through production, to final marketing and sales.

Within 2 working days, you will receive through an email your password, which you can use to start searching the database of Professionals.

How do I search for Professionals?
|
|
To search for professionals, you have to first login to the website using your User ID and Password. Once you have logged in, you need to click on “Search for Professionals/Professional Firms”.
You can then search for Professionals by using the following two options:-

‘Search Using Parameters’- Various search parameters have been provided for you to be able to define your requirements. For example, some of the basic parameters that have been provided are:

Industry/Industries to which professional should belong |
| o |
City, State, Country in which the professional is located |
| o |
Preferred age group |
| o |
Preferred minimum work experience |
Apart from the above basic parameters, additional search parameters, such as Preferred current work status, Roles for which professionals needed, Preferred organisations etc have been provided for you to further refine your requirements.

‘Search Using Keywords’- If you do not wish to use the search parameters and wish to search for professionals using a specific word/s that may be appearing in their profile, you may use this option. All profiles featuring your selected keyword/s would appear in your search result. Keywords could range from City names such as Agra to expertise of the professionals industries such as Leather.

How do I contact the Professionals appearing in my search results?
|
|
Search results have been categorized into 2 sections:
Section I contains profiles of those professionals who have chosen to disclose their contact details. You can contact them directly.
Section II contains profiles of those professionals who have not disclosed their contact details. For these, you would need to click on their respective Professional Codes. Clicking on the Code will generate an automatic email to the Professional informing him of your interest. If he is willing to provide his expertise to you, his contact details would be sent to you through an email.

I am not finding the right Professional. What do I do?
|
|
If you are unable to find the desired professional, we request you to:

Broaden your search parameters OR |
| • |
Try different keywords or combinations of keywords in case you are searching using keyword. |
If you still do not find the desired profile, it may be because no professional matching the profile desired by you has till now registered. You should re-visit the website after 15/30 days to see if a professional suiting your requirements has registered.
